Any test that produces an image of the body.
Insufficient
A term used to describe a heart valve that is unable to maintain its native shape, and therefore leaks. These are sometimes called "floppy valves."
Internal Mammary Artery (IMA)
One of two large arteries located in the upper chest, that are often used to bypass blockage in the Left Anterior Descending (LAD) or Right Coronary Artery (RCA) of the heart.
Iontophoresis
A process whereby an affected body part is immersed in a conductive solution, which transmits a very small electrical charge into the body. The end goal is the cessation of profuse sweating.
